How to Apply

Apply Micro-RA® once a day, in the evening, to the clean dry skin where acne lesions appear, using enough to cover the entire affected area lightly. A transitory feeling of warmth or slight stinging may be noted on application. In cases where it has been necessary to temporarily discontinue therapy or to reduce the frequency of application, therapy may be resumed or the frequency of application increased as the patient becomes able to tolerate the treatment. Patients treated with Micro-RA® may use cosmetics, but the areas to be treated should be cleansed thoroughly before the medication is applied. Sunburn Alert: This product contains tretinoin that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use a suitable sunscreen with high SPF, such as Micro-Derm® ProZone® before exposure to sunlight.
